I work where AI engineering meets the customer.
I’m a customer-facing Applied AI engineer based in Barcelona. I take ambiguous enterprise problems, turn them into technical systems, and stay accountable from discovery through production and adoption.
I currently work at Capitole as a Senior Data Consultant focused on Applied AI and client delivery. My most recent engagement was with ADP’s Core AI Platform team, where I built production RAG, retrieval, and evaluation capabilities used across more than ten business units and two regions.
Previously, I was part of Neodata’s early AI engineering team. I joined sales in the first client conversations, led technical discovery and feasibility, translated business needs into AI architectures, and owned implementation, rollout, and post-sales relationships. For Catania Airport, I managed the project end to end and met monthly with the CFO and CTO to define priorities, review delivery, and shape the roadmap.
My path into engineering was not linear. I studied Business Economics and spent three years in airport security at Catania International, trained in counter-terrorism procedures inside critical infrastructure. That environment taught me to think in failure modes, layered controls, and operational consequences before I ever wrote production AI code.
Outside work I contribute to open source, organised and technically led two GenAI hackathons at the University of Catania, and serve as community manager of Applied AI Engineers ↗. Current rabbit holes: AI × cybersecurity, AI × music.
